Likeability is an important business asset. Consumers have a choice to whom to give their money. Let them give you their money because they like you. As much as possible, learn your customers' names and use their names when you see them. Greet them with a smile and a warm handshake. All of your customers should be continually reminded that you appreciate their business whether that's selling pizza, fixing their car, selling their homes or teaching them yoga. Always, follow up. Your appeal pays dividends. Satisfied customers know you, trust you and are the easiest to sell additional products and services.
