You can spend years in business school studying complicated economic theories. You can search the world for hidden secrets. Or, you can start a business and get to work.    There are three simple rules required of all successful businesses: Offer a quality product or service that the market demands at a fair price. Appreciate your customer. Say thank you. Ask for more business. Copy success. Find the leaders in your industry and do what they are doing. If possible, make them your mentors.    You can do more. You do not need to do more. Very simply, as an alert and aware consumer, you already know what characteristics make a business successful. Don't fool yourself. Simply start and continue to do what you know you should be doing.
